I think the last update was in June 2017, any update or new release coming ? or is there a roadmap for this product ?

Under review

Hi there,

OzCode v3.5 EAP was released in September and last month we released a webinar which shows some of the cool new features in the EAP (especially around to 8 minute mark and onward). However, the super exciting news is that OzCode v4 will be a monumental jump forward for us, as we've spent the past year and a half cooking up something very special. The first video covering some of the features that are coming in OzCode v4 has already been recorded and will be released in January 2018 on the Channel9 "Visual Studio ToolBox" show. Please stay tuned to our blog and social media as we'll definitely be sending out updates when it is released.

Hi Omer, thanks for your reply. So you mean there will be no v3.5 stable version, and we will directly jump to v4, is that right ?

No, but indeed the time difference between v3.5 RTM and v4 EAP may be short. We are still ironing out some issues with the new crazy-fast search. Note that there will be at least one more update to v3.5 EAP before it RTMs, which will also include the Conditional Search feature shown in the recent webinar.

Hi Omer, any update on v3.5 RTM ?

We have released the last release candidate as a v3.5 EAP this Friday. You can find more details on https://blog.oz-code.com/ozcode-3-5-eap-new-feature-conditional-search/ . Barring any unexpected surprised / showstoppers, this RC will be promoted to be the v3.5 RTM. Note that we already released some teasers for OzCode v4 - check out this Channel9 video for more details: https://channel9.msdn.com/Shows/Visual-Studio-Toolbox/OzCode-V4

Hi Jeff,

We intend to release a Blogpost with more details soon.

Hi Jeff, still working on it, but we intend to release more details on v4 soon, with a final RTM release planned later this year. We promise, it will definitely be worth the wait, as this is by far the biggest release we've ever done. We thank you for your patience as we do our best to create an epic release with the new Time Travel debugging experience that we think will dramatically change the way you deubg.

Thank you for the update. Please make sure v4's performance is good.

Will there be v3.5 RTM ?

Hi Jeff,

We are definitely putting a huge emphasize on performance in v4. In fact, many of the things that were executed synchronically in v3 will be executed asynchronically in v4.

We will announce an RTM for 3.5 in the blog.
