Exception dialog: add catch clause

Thomas W. 4 years ago updated by Leo Omri Finkelstein 4 years ago 1

In case an exception happens, the exception dialog opens. If the exception happens inside a try{} block, there could be a button to add this new exception to the existing catch{} handlers. Got what I want? No?

Given the code:

try
{
Path.Combine(file.DirectoryName, document);
}
catch (ArgumentException)
{
return whatever default value;
}

This code may also throw a NotSupportedException. Let's say this just happened to me. Ozcode shows the exception dialog. And I want a button to add

catch(NotSupportedException)

{

// TODO: handle

}

to my code (and stop debugging, if that's required)

Thanks for the idea Thomas, we hope to implement your idea in a future version of OzCode.
