Problem reinstalling OzCode

Jose Luis Balsera 6 years ago updated by Omer Raviv (CTO) 6 years ago 0

I installed OzCode in VS2012 an it worked perfectly. For a while I needed a clean VS configuration and I uninstalled OzCode.

After rebooting my computer I tried to reinstall OzCode but the setup stopped with a message saying that there were files being used.

After some digging I found that in Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\Extensions\BugAid Software\BugAid\1.0 there were two files (

SimpleProfiler.dll and SimpleProfilerx64) being used by w3wp.exe.

After an iisreset, I could delete this folder and install OzCode again.

Thank you very much for the report! This is a known issue and we plan to solve it in the future as part of a big change to our installer's infrastructure.
