Close exception tab with wheel button

Guilherme Morais F. 4 years ago updated by Lior Kerner 4 years ago 4

Hi!

Almost every file in VS20XX, we can close with a click in the wheel. It´s possible to add this little feature in the "Tabs" of the exceptions? Because the older ones start to mess the visual after a while.

Hi Guilherme,

Thanks a lot for the suggestion, we like the idea!

We'll work on incorporating this into a future revision of OzCode, and promise to update this ticket when that happens :)

Related to this would be perhaps an option to not have OzCode remember old Exception Inspector sessions. The value of keeping history there in the tabs is unclear to me and really does just clutter up the ui.

Kevin, you are a right in some meaner however, in a few times I had to compare the new exception to the old one just to make sure they are the same, but it's not an obligation. I could just copy the exception to sublime while I was trying to simulate the problem.

We consider this a feature and not a bug, which is just typical ;)

But really, the reason we persist exception types is that sometimes it's useful to have them available to you, even after you hit Shift+F5. We persist them even after you start a new debugging session because sometimes it is useful to try and compare the exception from the current debugging session with the one you had before.

Thanks for your sharing your annoyance with this - We'll consider adding a checkbox so you could disable this persisted behavior if you don't need it.
